Salenta + Topu - Moon Set, Moon Rise

Salenta Baisden is a LA native and Topu Lyo a New York-based electroacoustic musician. The two first met in New York a few years before the pandemic kicked in. The encounter was followed by regular improvisation sessions between Salenta's spinet and Topu's cello. Their meet-up came to a halt when the world forced upon isolation in 2020. Towards the end of the pandemic Salenta revisited their poignant yet intimate recordings and finally released "Moon Set, Moon Rise" through the Belgium label Futura Resistenza. 

Piano ostinato and paired down bass harmony, all these improvised over an acoustic ambience all too honest.
