Little North - Wide Open

Little North is the Copenhagen trio of Benjamin Nørholm Jacobsen ( piano), Martin Brunbjerg Rasmussen (double Bass) and Lasse Jacobsen (drums). They have a history of collaborating with other contemporaries to enrich their sound. In 2022, guitarist Viktor Spasov contributed guitar to their album "Familiar Places" and vibraphonist "Joel Ross" played on their latest 2026 release "Crossing Currents". In "Wide Open" they went back to the basics and the result is a collection of ECM-ish songs that feature atmospheric basslines, unresolving piano phrases and minimalistic drum textures. Classic Nordic jazz, 100% Danish DNA.
