UK label Tonal Union, with a disposition towards jazz music, has made a name for itself for representing artists with storied backgrounds (Blue Lake and Anenon to name a few). One of their new joinere in 2025 is Laurie Torres.

Québécoise at heart, Torres has been a sidewoman for years, contributing her keys to acts like Pomme and Land of Talk. In 2025 she released her solo debut Après Coup as a meditative response to her past work centered on pop music. A joyful collection of improvisational contemplation. Enjoy her honesty!
