Hvalfugl - Bag Vore Øjne Strømmer Drømme Sagte Forbi

One of the most unique genre blending jazz acts from Aarhus, Hvalfugl is the trio of Jonathan Fjord Bredholt (piano / harmonium), Jeppe Lavsen (electric guitar) and Anders Juel Bomholt (double bass). Their music is known for their winter melancholy, marinated with chamber jazz aesthetics and Danish folk.

"Bag Vore Øjne Strømmer Drømme Sagte Forbi" (literally means your dreams softly pass behind your eyes), being self-released by the band, is a collection of the singles they released since 2022 in the midst of COVID. Simple music documents the yearnings and helplessness in one of the darkest time in modern day history.
