Blue Lake - Sun Arcs

Jason Dungan, a Copenhagen-based Texas native, explored his subconsciousness in relation to his physical surroundings in this 2023 classic "Sun Arcs". Predominately a solo effort, featuring his self-made 48-string zither, "Sun Arcs" is as much meditative as exploratory. It is a journey reflecting his state of mind as a Texan implant in a foreign country. There is no homesickness, the mood is calm and contemplative. The micro improvisation embedded in his zither-indebted arpeggio suggests an adaptative Jason Dungan ready for  stimulation in a burgeoning music scene like Copenhagen.
